Do you ever heard about Positive Material Identification or we call it P.M.I?
what do you think? is it under destructive testing or Non destructive testing?
i have experiance about this thing and this material verification program.
this device using isotop or x-ray. this unit is use to show the compositionof the material
i experiance in using XRF technology. XRF is x-ray Flourescent. this x-ray is 2/3 less then hospital x-ray for chest.
now days, all refinery and tops site that involve with H2S line or we call it sour line need to check for the composition. it is now very portable and we can download all the data.
dislike: can't delete data that we don't want in the PMI device. need to delete all the data.
